Privacy Policy
1. What we collect
- Email address — used to create and sign in to your account.
- Passkey public credentials — if you enable Face ID / passkey login, we store the public part of the credential (never biometric data, which stays on your device).
- Basic device and security records — device type, OS and sign-in timestamps, kept to protect your account and to show you your own login activity.
2. What we never collect
- Private keys, seed phrases, or wallet passwords. Key material is managed on your device and within our infrastructure provider's secure enclave architecture; Serene has no access.
- Your name, address, photos, contacts, or location.
- Advertising identifiers. Kiyo contains no ads and no third-party tracking SDKs.
3. The blockchain is public
Wallet addresses and transactions are recorded on public blockchains (Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana). This is how blockchains work and is outside anyone's control — including ours. Treat your addresses as pseudonymous, not anonymous.
4. Service providers
- Privy, Inc. — authentication and embedded-wallet infrastructure (processes your email and manages key shares in a way that keeps them inaccessible to Serene). See Privy's privacy policy.
- Blockchain RPC and market-data providers — when the app fetches balances and prices, your wallet addresses and IP address are technically visible to those services, as with any wallet.
We share data with no one else. We do not sell or rent personal data.
5. Where your data lives, and for how long
Account data is stored by our service providers on infrastructure in secure data centres. We keep it for as long as your account exists.
6. Deleting your account
You can delete your account at any time in the app: Account → Delete account. This permanently erases your sign-in methods and account data. Because Kiyo is non-custodial, deleting your account does not move or destroy on-chain assets — they remain accessible to whoever holds the backed-up keys, which is why the app requires you to confirm your backups first.
7. Your rights
Subject to applicable law (including Singapore's PDPA), you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by emailing support@kiyowallet.com.
8. Children
Kiyo is not directed at children and may not be used by anyone under 18.
9. Changes
If we change this policy, we will update this page and the effective date. Material changes will be announced in the app.
